Starbucks!
I’ve heard it called StarBURNT and FIVEbucks… but regardless of what you call it- I’m a FAN!!
I remember my granddad’s simple advise when it came to coffee- This here is the secret to getting hair on your chest!! As an 8 year old, that was not cool!! So I took his advise and did not drink coffee!!
I remember my first ever sip of coffee… not to be confused with the split second that followed as I spat that luke-warm sip of coffee back into the cup!!!
I remember the pressures to drink coffee, because coffee is the official drink of smart people… 2 Creams 2 Sugars and I’m good to go!!!
I remember the day I branched out and drank something new, something crazy…
“Umm… I would like a Grand Carmel Maa-Cheeto”
(Obviously, I wasn’t a native Starbucky… but I quickly learned the lingo!)
And now, Starbucks has become a place of adventure… A place of excitement!!
They have cold drinks to cool you off- warm drinks to get you going!! Everything from a White Chocolate Mocha to a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino (and by the way, that is just the sophisticated way of saying Vanilla Milk Shake!). You can be very complicated by adding extra shots of Espresso or Packages of Splenda or you can be as simple as a basic Coffee of the Day!!
Starbucks has so many different flavors to get so many different kinds of coffee drinkers!!
I must admit, I am a member of the Starbucks Army…
